male circuncision is very different. the foreskin isn't exactly god's greatest work. I know the trouble I had when I was a kid with infections. if I had been "cold-bloody" circumcised as a baby, it would've spared me a lot of pain. female circunsision stops women from having pleasure, but what does the removal of the foreskin takes from you.they do it to babies, because the skin is thiner. I had a friend who HAD to be circunsided at 16, THAT WAS PAINFUL.

cooper, I'm sorry I appeared to be cticizing you personally. In fact I was trying to emphasize the point you put across. I think I'm broadly in line with your politics too. At the end of the day, I (like you) want to make the world a better, happier place, with human rights the top priority.

cooper, the USA is worse because it forces circumcision (a 10 -15 minute op.) on MOST of its baby boys (newborns), and usually without anesthesia. Circumcision traumatises a newborn! Routine circucmcision - whether male or female - is absolutely unnecessary, and removes much erogenous tissue.Circumcision is rare in Europe. His/her body means His/her choice! Parents have no right to mutilate the genitals of their children, and your doctors shouldn't be performing it on babies.
