Es algo muy subjetivo lo que decís; depende del oído de cada uno. Para mi Vai es un genio componiendo y hay más virtuosos pero no tiene nada que ver con Clapton. Clapton impuso un estilo único y fue inspirador de muchos grandes. Nadie jamás lo podrá imitar por más que sea el más veloz de la tierra. La revista Rolling Stone es una mierda... John Fusciante (que es una mierda tocando) estaba en un puesto mejor que Angus Young.. cualquiera.

ajajaja, Clapton no es virtuoso, pero Vai, Satriani y Malmsteen si?Busca la lista de los mejores guitarristas de la Rolling Stone, y vas a ver que estan un poquitin en desacuerdo con vos.Malmsteen y Satriani son sombras de Vai, y ninguno de los 3 le pone algo de sentimiento o pasion a su musica, Steve es bueno tecnicamente, pero no componiendo. Es más, Satriani que lo nombras como el mejor le robo todo a Van Halen, y Yngwie no sale con una linea de guitarra si no esta completamente ebrio.

I'm not sure what it is about Steve Gadd....he is a great drummer in Jazz but just doesn't have a good driving sound and style for rock. He has a real limp wristed floppy kind of style and looks like he's about ready to let the sticks fly out of his hands at any moment.

No matter how many times I hear it, this song retains its power. And, let's face it: when Clapton allows himself to be passionate on the Strat, he does it so good.
